I am a member of the association of international antiquities dealers. The AIAD is an association of dealers in antiquities (including fine art, coins, metallic and ceramic objects) whose aim is to promote responsible antiquities dealing and to provide a support network and means of exchanging relevant information about fakes, forgeries, fraudulent misrepresentation and stolen good with a view of identifying such items for sale and notifying the relevant authorities. Every member must meet and follow the stringent code of conduct in order to participate in the association.  Should you need to check my membership visit this link.

Ancient China, Liangzhu culture, 3300-2200 BC.  A genuine and rare Liangzhu buffed jade. This cong bead which was part of a funerary necklace is decorated horizontal lines, the central part with animal-like features while the top and bottom with human-like faces. This artefact presents a deep brown red colour due to the extremely high content of iron and some white mineral veins due to natural processes.
