Improved Bachmann Spectrum HO 2-8-4 Berkshire Pere Marquette Rd. #1225 and tender with enhanced DCC & Sound (Item #50901). This locomotive has been improved with the installation of a TCS 1516 WOW101 Steam decoder and Keep Alive 1456 KA2. The sounds that come out of this locomotive are simply amazing, but you will have to do a little CV programming to tune it to your liking. Google TCS WOW Steam and check out how good these decoders are! The "keep alive" add on allows the locomotive to keep running over rail gaps and dirty track. When I turned off my power station sound continued out of the locomotive for about 30 more seconds! 

Knuckle couplers on locomotive and tender. These Bachmann Spectrums are fine locomotives that run smooth and you will not be disappointed. For example, it has bright forward and reverse lighting (DCC controlled of course) in addition to the sound. The box contains a couple small additional parts (hardly worth mentioning).

I know I'm going to hear that it's more expensive than other sound equipped Berkshires, but they don't have the same equipment as this one.
