Sets are drum sanded both sides to 150 grit and a light sealer is applied to give an idea of the finished color and figure.

They have the right equipment and the experience to have an end product that is far superior to any "garage stabilization equipment" that is available online. It would be less expensive for us to buy one of these setups as many other sellers on ebay do and drums of a stabilizing agent so that we can do it ourselves, but the product would be of far less quality.

The fantastic, unpredictable grain of these scales MAY include small inclusions, edge chips hairline cracks or checks. This is TYPICAL with burl and high figured woods and are not considered flaws.
