Marx Tinykins

In the early 1960's, Louis Marx licensed the rights to product a tiny set of figures (all under 2" tall) of many of the, then brand new, animated characters that appeared on the new Hanna-Barbera television shows.  The line was a companion line to their Disneykin line.  The Tinykins consisted of sets from the Flintstones, Quick Draw McGraw, Huckleberry Hound, Top Cat, and Yogi Bear. Louis Marx was a company that knew how to sell and resell the same items.  The figures were available individually, sold in "playsets" with 2 dimensional backgrounds, TV Scenes, postcards, and one could also buy "almost" the entire set of 34 packaged in a large display box.

~ On a personal note, these cartoons were a big part of my childhood and the Flintstones were one of my favorites!  I hope that you can add this to your collection and enjoy it for years to come!~

Note: All items come from a Smoke FREE home but, we do have cats!  We try to keep them away from our inventory items, but cat hairs might just sneak in!

We are both from the "Baby Boomer" era, and this is our retirement business. We are meticulous about the research that we do so as not to over or under charge according to the value of our pieces. We especially look for vintage boxes, wooden, lacquered or other materials. Also we look for clocks of all kinds, mid century radios, cameras, unusual furniture, collectibles and jewelry.

CONDITION ~~ We sell items that are unique and eclectic, which means many items are vintage and already used. We sell items that we think are quality items, and that, if we had the room, might display in our home or wear if it is jewelry or clothing.  We hope you enjoy what you purchase.  PLEASE READ THE LISTING CLOSELY AND THEN READ IT AGAIN, IT'S SO EASY TO MISS A MEASUREMENT AND THINK THE ITEM IS SMALLER OR LARGER. VINTAGE and ANTIQUE items are old and have been around for quite some time. Please know that although we point out flaws, vintage and antique items have been worn/used and take that into consideration when bidding.

About our items: Most of our items we sell are used, old, antique, second hand, etc... And will have signs of use and or wear. I try to accurately describe any and all defects, wear, age, etc... I always try to provide lots of photos of every angle so there are no surprises when you receive your purchase. All items are sold AS IS and as shown in the photos so please ask any and all questions prior to purchasing or bidding.

SHIPPING ~~ WE USUALLY SHIP WITHIN TWO BUSINESS DAYS (OR SOONER) AFTER RECEIVING PAYMENT.

NOTE: Due to higher costs, we are now charging a restocking fee of 20% of the cost of the item on each item returned. Thanks for your understanding.

WE SHIP SMALL ITEMS USPS STANDARD MAIL. We also ship UPS/FEDEX on occasion for high value, large or unusually shaped items. High value items will automatically be insured and that cost will be included in the shipping price.  If you would prefer any other shipping method and are willing to pay extra, please contact us and we will arrange it.
