This is a rare variant of the Iberic AS coin of the 3rd century when the Roman Republic occupied the north east coast of Spain.
The Obverse is the helmeted head of Roma facing right surrounded by ‘L. TRINI.L.F.Q.T.AHI.T.F.’.
The Reverse is Cornupiae over thunderbolt with ‘VALENTIA’ text underneath.

The coin’s diameter is 29 mm and weighs 14.30 grams.

There is the expected green oxidisation but both sides are still clearly visible. Please refer to the pictures.
