Here is a great vintage SPIKE LEE 40 ACRES AND A MULE LOGO HAT. It is still NOS/New Old Stock with the original hang tags. One of the hang tags say "40 ACRES LABEL CAP - WHITE. HAD TO BE MORE THAN 100 YEARS BACK THAT BLACK FOLKS GOT PROMISED 40 ACRES AND A MULE. SPIKE SAID HE'S GONNA HAVE HIS. SO HE TAGGED HIS COMPANY WITH THAT LOGO - 40 ACRES AND A MULE FILMWORKS - AND THAT'S THE TRUTH, RUTH. SPIKE LEE CAPS ARE A MIX BETWEEN STREET CULTURE & SOCIAL AWARENESS THAT YOU CAN WEAR ON YOUR HEAD.".  This hat is white with a black bill & black dot on top.  On the front is their 40 Acres Label.  This embroidered/stitched label says "FORTY ACRES AND A MULE FILMWORKS, 40A (logo), BROOKLYN, N.Y., A SPIKE JOINT YA DIG.". There is a small "40A" logo patch on the back of the hat, above the snap-back.  The plastic snap closure (marked MADE IN USA) is adjustable, so one-size-fits-all. The inside tag says ROMAN, RANDOLPH, MA, MADE IN U.S.A.
