This auction is for the rental of a Globalstar GSP-1700 Satellite Phone for a 1 month period. You will also receive UNLIMITED voice usage in the US, Canada and the Caribbean free of charge. These phones are the current model and in good condition. We are a certified Globalstar dealer in Washington State, and are here to assist you in any way possible, so please just ask by phone or email. Disclosure: Not for use indoors or vehicles. These phones are connecting to satellites that are only overhead in any given area for about 15 minutes, with a new satellite coming into orbit behind them to replace the coverage. This will result in dropped calls and signal loss as they move across the horizon. To improve connection and call times, having at least 80% clear view of the sky and standing in one place, with the antenna pointing directly up will increase signal quality and length of calls. Trying a different location when signal isn't steady can make a difference as well. Interference from other electronics and obstructions around you can be the cause of a diminished signal.

Shipping Cost: $24 covers both directions, shipping TO you upon sale, along with a prepaid return label to send it back to us. We normally ship USPS Priority, but depending on your location or a request from you, we may do UPS or FedEx instead.

Rental Dates: Please note that purchasing this listing does NOT guarantee a rental will be available for your desired rental dates. Please contact us immediately after purchase with your desired rental dates. We are especially busy during the spring and summer months, so please contact us ahead of time to check availability and we will do our best to accommodate. We take reservations 2 weeks in advance. If you'd like to make a $50 non-refundable deposit, we will take reservations up to 2 months out, guaranteeing a rental unit for you by being willing to take a new unit from stock and activating it if necessary to fulfill the reservation.

Phone will Include:
Unlimited Airtime (voice, data and incoming texts) in the US, Canada and Caribbean. Coverage over bodies of water near these areas are also included for boating. There will be a little house icon in the top corner of the screen when you are in the "Home Zone".

We will allow a 3-5 day transit period both to send the phone to you and also to send it back to us. If we can view the tracking number and see that it is in transit, that is also acceptable.
