The SP-1 Spaceship watch offers Avant-Garde stypng at an affordable price. With a brushed steel case diameter measuring 45mm the timepiece exudes large proportions with being too imposing. What makes this watch so amazing is the intricate ‘Art Deco’ inspired skeletonized dial. Other striking features include a large titanium three-dimensional minute hand, rotating jumping hour disk, domed sapphire crystal and top mounted crown. At the heart of the watch is manual winding Swiss Unitas ETA 6497 movement with Côtes de Genève decoration. This mechanism comprises 17-jewels and oscillates at a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour (2.5Hz).

Looking pke something from a science fiction film, the unique skeletal design behind the SP-1 Spaceship Predator model, was largely influenced by Azimuth's creators' love of apen and sci-fi movies. "We felt that our exploration of space would not be complete without incorporating some of the great visionaries of popular space culture," said Mr Alvin Lye, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Azimuth Watch Company. “The unique execution of our movement for The Spaceship Predator is in part inspired by the creatures from the 'Apen' and 'Predator' movies and they fit right into our spaceship themed model"
At the core of this unique timepiece is its AZM 768 manual winding movement in skeleton execution with a mystery jumping hour on a three-dimensional titanium minute hand. A detail worth noticing is the ratchet wheel that has been elaborately skeletonised with Azimuth's logo- an impression of a hairspring, which is a critical component in a mechanical watch. The Predator watch is indeed a reflection of our ethos of creating only mechanical timepieces. Aesthetics wise the SP-1 Spaceship Predator boasts a 316L stainless steel case in 45 mm and domed sapphire crystal.
