Description
The Horiba Synapse CCD camera and CP-140 spectrograph are in good physical condition. The CCD offers two-dimension detection and can be paired with other Horiba spectrometers for absorbance all the way to photo-luminescence measuring. The CP-140-1603 has holographic gratings with 405 per mm and has a wavelength range of 190-410 nanometers. The pair come with a power supply and a mounting bracket.
These Horiba instruments were removed from an Distek Opt-Diss 405 fiber optic dissolution system and in good cosmetic condition. There are signs of use and age, including scuffs and removed or pealing labels. New Life Scientific technicians have not tested these instruments, but have no indication that the instruments are inoperable. The Synapse CCD is commonly paired with SynerJY software, but NLS does not currently have this software. The f/2 modular spectrograph is equipped with fiber optic ports and can be used for direct imaging. This listing does include the Synapse detector, the power supply unit, the power cable, USB communications cable, BNC shutter cable, and the CP-140 spectrograph. Warranty
Many online sellers ascribe to the 'sell-and-forget,' mentality but New Life Scientific breaks this mold. Customer service is an essential part of our business. We strive to protect our customers from the risk of purchasing used equipment that may be defective, broken, or misrepresented which is why we offer a 30-day warranty on all of our equipment, excluding for-parts listings.
If you experience any issues with your product that was described in the listing within 30-days of receiving your purchase, New Life Scientific will cover the costs to repair or replace it, or completely refund your purchase price. Any customer experiencing difficulty with his or her product should contact New Life Scientific within 30-days of received the product and begin filing a warranty claim.

Shipping
Standard Domestic Shipping
Standard shipping methods are chosen at our discretion, either by USPS First-Class, USPS Priority, or UPS Ground . Our standard shipping price listed is only good for the continental United States. Alaska, Hawaii, other U.S. Territories, and International will need to contact us and ask for a shipping quote. Tracking numbers are emailed automatically at the end of the business day, once your shipment has left our facility. UPS overnight is only available until 2pm EST in order for us to ship on the same day. Please call to verify we've received your overnight request. Same day shipping overnight is not available during holidays or weekends. If you are sending to a PO Box, your purchase must be shipped via USPS, either First Class, Priority, or Parcel Post, without exception.
Freight
For larger and sensitive items that we have designated for freight shipment, please contact us for a shipping quote, preferably before purchasing since it may affect your decision to purchase. When requesting a freight shipment quote, please include your address, with our not you are a business, and whether you will require lift gate or inside delivery. If you have any questions concerning freight shipment, feel free to ask.
Damage Shipments
If your item arrives damaged by the shipping carrier, please take clear images before & after opening your package to document the extent of the damage. The claim will require pictures of different angles of the box/crate before opening, and the damaged product(s) after opening. Email us immediately with your order number, found on the top of your invoice, along with the images and we'll begin the claim process.
Local Pick Up/Customer Arranged Shipping
Local pick up is available for those arranging their own freight carriers and picking up personally. If customers will require packaging for local pick up or shipping arrangements, New Life Scientific can provide packaging. Basic palletization of a product with foam cushioning is $25. For crating or more significant packaging, please contact us for a quote.
Special Packaging
For high value and high sensitivity items require special packaging, we use several layers of bubble wrap and shrink wrap to seal the product in a protective bubble bubble so the product always arrives in the condition you purchased it in. If you check our feedback you will see we never have any of our equipment arrive damaged due to improper packaging!
International shipping
As previously stated, our standard shipping price listed is only good for the continental United States. Alaska, Hawaii, other U.S. Territories, and International will need to contact us and ask for a shipping quote. All standard International Shipments do not offer confirmation or insurance, but they can be included for an additional cost. All International customers are responsible for their country's duties & taxes. Please check with your country's requirements before purchasing.
We do offer international freight shipments. Simply contact us for a freight shipment quote according to the regular freight shipment instructions.
International Shipping Restrictions
In order to be eligible for standard international shipment, items must have a final sale price of at least $150. In order to be eligible for international freight shipments, items must have a final sale price of $1,500.
We do not offer international shipping to Laos, Iran, or Syria as of 11/10/2014.
