About Amber

Baltic amber is fossilized tree resin, produced by prehistoric pine trees which grow in Northern Europe almost fifty million years ago. Much valued from antiquity to the present as a gemstone, amber is made into a variety of decorative objects. Amber is used as an ingredient in perfumes, as a healing agent in folk medicine, and as jewelry.

Initially it must have been used by plants as an antibiotic against viruses, substance healing cuts or a plaster for wound dressing. Its mysterious, not yet fully recognized unusual properties have always aroused curiosity and exerted fascination on people. They evoked awe and respect, but never fear or dread as was the case with some precious stones. Amber inspired magicians, doctors, scientists and artists. They could see that it is a stone which is alive, which is constantly changing. Not much has changed since then in this respect. It is an exclusively good power, worth getting familiar with and it is for our protection. . Current research confirms what people have felt and believed in for centuries.

Shipping to Europe takes about 1-2 weeks. Shipping to USA and Canada 3-4 weeks. Other countries 5 weeks. All orders are shipped via Lithuanian Postal Service as priority registered air mail.
