This vintage tea pot and shaker set is by Lefton. It is from his Miss Dainty line which features a blond girl. Her shirt is pink with white polka dots. She has a big blue bow tied under her chin. Miss Dainty has a white and burgundy plaid hat on her head which is decorated with colourful flowers on the front in the middle. The tea pot has a few tiny fleabites on the tip of the spout with a little bit of staining (probably from tea). There are two small chips to the tip of the blue bow on the left which have been touched up and a durable sealer has been applied (they are barely noticeable). There is a small area between the spout and her head which looks like very light staining (from tea or age?). There is a small hairline (stained) to the lid which is very hard to see when lidded. There is some fine crazing "here and there". This vintage tea pot measures approximately 6 inches (to top of flower on lid) and 8 1/2 inches from spout to handle. The bottom is marked ESD/Japan/Hand Painted and numbered 6819. The salt and pepper shakers have very minimal crazing. They sit approximately 3 inches high and are stamped Japan and numbered 7028.
