The DCA-CAM spy clock camera has made great progress since 2013 when first released. It is a great covert security camera for at home or work to keep an eye on what happens when you are away. Catch someone in the act or monitor who comes and goes from your property. Just put down and go it really is that easy.
It has many features including remote control that make it practical to use and operate. The camera is battery operated only and lasts 8 hours with the 2800mA battery supplied. You can leave for 5 days in standby mode and lasts 20 hours on 5800mA battery not included. Widely advertised to operate for 20 hours but not with the standard battery supplied. This lasts for a maximum 8 hours in motion detection. The camera can be left switched on inside and remotely activated in same room when needed (line of sight infra red remote). Power up camera and start taking pictures or record video/sound in constant or motion detection modes. Only recording when there is activity in view of the camera. The hidden camera lens is inside the face of clock behind a silver reflective mirror. It can not be seen even when closely inspected. The 5MP camera with wide angled 160º lens and high definition DVR records in AVI format. It records 8 hours on battery storing a maximum of 6 hours video onto a 32GB Micro SD card (not included). Charge up, insert your SD card (not included) and your ready to record. Power up the camera by remote and start recorder whenever your ready.
