Outside ambient air temperature VDO gauge kit for European cars. This is a Celsius kit not Fahrenheit. The parts never been installed. Kit includes temperature gauge and screw-on "spin-lok' mounting system, sender with mounting bracket, sender wire, lamp holder and lamp, red and green lamp covers so you can choose the color of illumination to suit your preference or match the existing interior illumination scheme.

Date on gauge suggests manufacture date of 1996. I have owned and stored the kit for about 7 years. Was planning to install in a classic SAAB 900.  This gauge is appropriate for other European cars such as BMW Porsche Volvo from 1980s to 1990s.  I believe this is one of the "VISION" series of gauges.  Size is 52mm or 2 1/16".
