The Zoot Women's Ultra Kane 2.0 is a stability running shoe that happens to be the lightest shoe in its class. This women's running shoe was specifically designed for the runner needing stability, maximum cushioning and who has a heavy stride.

Upper - BareFit/DualMesh

The main fabric covering the upper has been selected with a dual mesh construction, it allows fresh air to permeate the interior footbed keeping the foot cool and comfortable. It also provides a flexible base that conforms and moves with the foot for an enhanced performance. Supporting the mesh key place textile overlays at the midsection, towards the heel and forefoot provide's a more secure construction, acting upon torsion to maintain the shape and form, further extending the life of the shoe.

The Zoot Kane 2 brings a sensory experience as it allows the wear to step into comfort. Its BareFit encompasses the entire upper and is constructed to allow for sockless wear. It is lined with Dri-Lex fabric which has Smart Silver designed to reduce moisture, odor, and hot spots on the interior while a Single Layer Ultra Sockliner is also designed for barefoot running comfort. There is also the integration of an Asymmetrical lacing design and Asymmetrical, perforated neoprene tongue. These features help ensure an excellent fit and a secure feel.

Midsole - Z-Bound/Carbon Span

Improving the ride and feel of the Kane 2 shoe the Z-Bound midsole technology is designed to feature less weight and improved cushioning. Z-Bound has been engineered to provide the perfect balance between cushioning and rebound, absorbing impact shock and dispersing back through the midsole and propelling the wearer forward. this unique midsole yields great energy return and reduces stress and fatigue throughout the foot.

The shoe also employs a dual density ZVA medial support. This a full-length midsole and has a higher density foam positioned at the midfoot engineered to slow the rate of pronation. In all to provide overall foot support whilst a Carbonspan+ plate in the midfoot delivers added support by resisting torsional flex through the gait cycle and encourages a clean transition to the toe off.

Outsole - Carbon Rubber/Z-bound

Finally the outsole of the Kane 2 utilises a Carbon Rubber compound which is utilized in the heel and is designed for durability and hard-wearing hits. It offers reliable traction and control from foot-fall, allowing you to transfer through the gait cycle with ease to which then the Blown Rubber provides lightweight traction in the forefoot. In all engaging a floor fighting grip that will keep you grounded.
