Do I need an amazon prime account for access KODI?
Yes, you need to apply a free amazon account to register your stick and use KODI. But if you want to watch amazon videos, you need a paid prime account and may pay for some movies. But this is nothing to do with KO
What is Jailbroken?
Jailbroken on Fire TV and Fire TV stick only means we turn on the developer mode so we can sideload software on it. It doesn’t mean that you can watch Amazon prime videos, Hulu, Netflix and Sling TV for free. You still need pay them.
Do the contents in KODI update themselves?
Yes, all the contents are internet based and will update.
Does KODI software update itself?
No.
Can I cut down my cable TV after buy the stick?
Well, I would say it depends. If you watch movies frequently but TV occasionally, maybe you can; but if you watch live TV heavily, I would suggest keeping the cable TV. Lots of TV channels are not available or don’t work. And the picture quality is not so good for some channels.
How to find which add-ons have the content I want?
Normally, it is easy for movies, you can use add-ons such as Phoenix, 1Channel, Navi-x… For Live TV, Sportsdevil, Phoenix are good, but not all channels are available and lots of channels don’t work even you can find them. You need search online which add-ons are best for the special content you need.
My remote is dead?
Sometime the remote will disconnect with your stick, you need hold the home button at least 10 seconds to reconnect.
What to do if the KODI freezes?
Go to amazon home page, select Setting, the select Application, then manage installed application, then find kodi, press and you will see the Force stop menu, press it and launch KODI again.
