Montegrappa is an Italian company, based in Bassano del Grappa, that makes principally pens, but also a few watches. These include this piece “Chaos,” with the automatic mechanical movement ETA 2824. The Chaos watch is large, 54 x 43 mm, with a case in silver or gold with a skull and serpents motif suggesting a tale of Gothic horror. The dial has a black PVD coating, with an area of black guilloché providing a contrast for the applied Roman numerals and the hands with luminous coating. The black leather strap has a buckle with another skull; a miniature skull also appears on the crown, and another on the steel caseback.

The watch provides following functions: hours, minutes, seconds and date.

The watch is made from sterling silver, suggested retail cost is $6,400 (€4,250 in Europe), and has limited edition of 333 pieces.
