The Les Paul Classic Antique. Like the other guitars in the line, this beauty will be produced in a limited run of just 400 instruments, making it a pre-determined collector’s item if there ever was one.
According to Gibson’s website the new limited edition Les Paul Classic
Antique is basically a suped-up LP Classic, with a double-A figured
maple top, unique fireburst finish, antique top binding, and a pair of
’57 Classic humbuckers.
Other features include: a mahogany back, mahogany ’60s slim-taper neck,
24 3/4″ scale length, rosewood fretboard with 22 frets, trapezoid neck
inlays, holly headstock inlay, an uncovered ’57 Classic at the neck,
uncovered ’57 Classic Plus at the bridge, dual volume & tone
controls, 3-way pickup switching, amber ‘top hat’ knobs, green key
tuners, and more.
