Item Description
A bespoke 3-piece dinner suit/tuxedo from Anderson & Sheppard of Savile Row - a piece of British sartorial history.
Jacket: Double breasted 4-button, shawl collar design. The cloth comes black.
Waistcoat: Marcella fabric, with lapels and 2 pockets. Fastens with gold plated, mother of pearl studs.
Trousers: Double pleats, with 4 pockets + buttons for braces.
Note there is around 3.5" spare fabric at the waist and 2" spare fabric at cuffs.

Condition
This suit is from 1958, but looks excellent externally. Signs of wear (see images) include: damage to the sleeve linings, some small rust spots on the waistcoat and some patching of small holes in the trousers (practically invisible from the outside).

Jacket Sizing laid flat

  • Chest (pit to pit): 20 inch front = 40 inch total
  • Length (neck to hem): 29 inch
  • Shoulder to Shoulder: 19 inch
  • Sleeve (shoulder to cuff): 22.5 inch

Trouser Sizing

  • Waist: 32 inch
  • Inside Leg: 29 inch
  • Spare fabric at waist: approx 3.5 inch
  • Spare fabric at cuffs: 2 inch

Payment and Postage 

I aim to post as quickly as possible after payment has been confirmed (within 2 UK working days). I accept returns but kindly request that the buyer pays for the shipping.

If international postage is indicated, I only send by signed or tracked post for peace of mind. Please message me for an idea of price to your country. Any import charges are the responsibility of the buyer.

If an item exceeds £50 then I may add tracking to postage within the UK at no extra cost to the bidder.

I would be grateful if payment can be made within 7 days of the auction ending, otherwise I will have to relist the item. I can currently only accept payment via Paypal.
