Vintage of pen: Parker used plastic plungers for its Vacumatic refill system between 1942-1948 so this is the approximate vintage of this pen. It belonged to my dad, and I remember seeing it as far back as 1951. It has not been used since about 1960.
Condition of pen: The pen is in its original non-restored state. Writes smoothly. The plunger fills the rubber sac and I get 20 ink drops out of it. There are no leaks.
Features:
- Lustraloy (steel) cap with grey jewel on top
- Gold filled arrow clip with blue diamond shape. (The blue filling shows a tiny chip in the center of the diamond).
- 14k gold nib writes smoothly (not sure if fine or medium)
- Dove-grey body color.
