Really cool mid 1960's Ampeg SB12 Portaflex 1x12, 25 watt combo tube amp

Amps don't get much simpler than this!

All USA point to point wired tube amp - with 25 watts of killer tone

Controls:

Vol / Treble / Bass

Inputs:

Instrument /  Bass

While technically a "bass" amp - it's really more intended for guitar use - hence the 12 speaker

The sound is very "Fender-esque" - clean with nice breakup when pushed

I'd say this is 90% original, even has the 2 prong cord, and internals appear to be stock (from my POV - but I am not an expert)

These have really good bass response due to the simple side port in the baffle

I got this in trade recently and it functions while hooked up to another speaker - so I swapped out the stock original Jensen and installed a decent Fender 12" from a Blues Deville - it sounds great and gets the job done.

It also appears that a transformer is not original (the small one) - although the amps functions great anyway.

Grill and tolex look good - tolex has some nicks and a tear as expected from a 50 year old amp

the handle was deteriorated so bad only the metal band was left (included) - so I installed a new blue leather one

all in all a great vintage amp

***NOTE

I will include original Jensen For an extra $15 (just shipping costs), it currently produces no sound
