Buy-It-Now: One dozen vintage Eberhard Faber #740 Blu-Blak NoBlot Indelible pencils- medium degree with black plastic end caps. These pencils were made at the end of WWII or shortly after- noted by the presence of plastic end caps, at the height of the war all noblots were made with plain ends all due to metal restrictions. By the late 1940's the pencils were once again made with brass end caps. The dozen pack is a nice example of the post war vintage, the box shows slight soiling, the pencils are in good condition. The #740 NoBlot is basically the round barrel version of the hex #705 NoBlot and an affordable alternative for use. The pencils were made at the plant in Brooklyn, NY. A less common version of the 740. Questions always welcomed!
