These jackets first came out to the public in the states in 1982 following their conception for the 1980 american Olympic team. These were quickly embraced by the b-boys, breakdance crews and were quickly very fashionable and trend setting.
These jackets have been so successful for Nike that many versions have been released over the years and are still being made now and still popular, but why settle for something that everyone can get when you could have an original that cannot be found in any sports shop. A must for all you 80's collectors and enthusiasts out there.
This particular jacket is the first generation which came out early 80's and is in excellent used condition. It is was from old skool unlined nylon and has a perfectly clear screen printed badge.
All the zips are working fine, hood drawstrings, the elastic hem and cuffs look and feel unused, no rips/tears or visible marks.
As this dates back to the 80's it would be best to check the measurements below against one of your own jackets when lying flat before bidding:
Armpit to Armpit: 19.5" or 49.5cm
length (top of shoulder to bottom of hem): 23" or 58cm
Arm length (Armpit to end of cuff): 19.5" or 49.5cm
