Brand new K&N style cast alloy turbo plenum / air bonnet / turbo hat, to suit;

These cast alloy turbo plenums are a copy of the much more expensive K&N units and are modified by us for blow through turbo applications, or you can simply ram cold air into the carb via a remote mounted intake and filter.  The genuine K&N units (black one shown in one of the photos) retail for around $400-$500, so get the same performance for half the price. 

Top can be swiveled 360 degrees, allowing for either front or side entry, or anywhere in between, which makes is easy to mate up to your turbo plumbing.  They are bare alloy, and look good as they are, but they could be easily polished, or painted like the K&N units.

These are the plenums that we use in our blow through turbo kits.  They are approx 65mm tall and clear the top of the air riser on DGV style Weber carbys easily, so they do not cause a restriction at higher air flows.  We have used these plenums and have shown they can support over 200hp in blow through turbo applications.  I have not tested their upper limit, but it's probably more like 300hp.  The carby would be a restriction before these plenums are.

We improve these over the original K&N design by machining the mating surfaces and using a polyurethane seal to make them air tight under boost.  The original cardboard gasket is not used between the top and bottom half as they will leak under boost.

                   Plenum internal diameter - 136mm (a bit large for 5-1/8" air horns like Holley Quadrajet or Edelbrock carbs)

                   Total height - 64mm

                   Inlet diameter = 64mm (suit 2.5" hose)

                   Package includes Weber DGV air horn gasket and fitting kit
