Side note: this particular thumper is not made to hang free without support underneath. The cap is not strong enough to support the weight. See our mason jar all copper cap thumpers for a thumper that is strong enough to hang free without support underneath.
All you need to do is attach the in flow, long tube to your still by any method that will screw to standard half inch pipe thread and attach the out flow, short tube to your condenser and you have successfully raised the percent abv by around 50%. This is why it is also referred to as a doubler.
Everything comes apart for cleaning. All parts are 100% lead free food safe. High temperature food grade silicone gaskets, stainless steel, glass and brass.
You can also use it to flavor your neutral spirits. It works very well as a flavor enhancer when filled with juice, or cinnamon, or a half a lemon, or sliced peaches, etc.
Perfect size for 10 gallon batches or smaller.
