This is a long cable which plugs into the OBDII plug in the passenger side footwell of the P38 Range Rover.

This lead combined with the free EAS reset software available easily from google (we include a link so you can download it for free from the author's website) will enable you to:

·         depressurize the EAS system which is useful when replacing components

·         check height sensors are reading correctly (shown on screen)

·         run the EAS pump without the engine running

·         re-calibrate the suspension

We also include free the ‘RAVE’ manual especially written with P38 owners in mind. It gives detailed descriptions on how to carry out repair jobs and extensive car diagrams.

Important....

You will need the electrical contact pins in your obdII port to be active and not suffering from corrosion for any lead to work. Many P38's suffer corrosion in the vehicles obdII male socket from water ingress from the sunroof, windscreen and even heater matrix o rings leaking. Take a peek with a torch to see, sometimes it's worth checking behind too for loose wires and corrosion on the back of the connector. If in doubt just give us a shout.

We also have reset fully working air suspension ecu's if required, simply swop yours over from under the front passenger seat in around 5 minutes........ there's only three code types covering all 8 years of production and we have them all :0)

Take care, look out for the dreaded white powder in the eas system which sticks the diaphragm closed (or open) and blocks the airflow pathways and chambers in your valve block. You won't find any mention of replacing or servicing it in your books or manuals though one technical bulletin was released in the late nineties advising replacement under service at 60,000 miles or six years if white powder visible.... it was supposed to last the lime time of the vehicle :0)

Some air dryers even collapse firing silica gel straight through the block destroying it completely. 

Most P38's are still running around on their original dryer (see the 2 number year code on the lid in the little circle) ...

The air dryer is a ticking time bomb on any air suspension system and should never be ignored!!

Our kit contains top quality automotive vacuum packed desiccant (not grip seal silica) and we provide full o ring set with new pads too. Simply screw off the lid and replace in the same order as it comes out.

Genuine top quality Schrader Valves, seal in dust cap, valve removal and tightening tool on dust cap, o ring sealed not ptfe taped!

Important...If your air springs are old, split, cracked, corded or perished you will have to keep topping up. Replacing the springs is a must if they are not in good condition. Valves are ideal in an emergency to quickly and easily bypass the valve block and electronics keeping your vehicle on the road. Even if not required at the moment you will be pleased you have a set ready in the glove box at some point to get back up on air in the event of eas failure. Do not over inflate, secure valves once fitted, restrict vehicle height and speed until system repaired. Also very useful for finding air leaks on the system

Once valves are fitted (airlines 1-4 in the engine bay by the eas box under bonnet) you can blow your suspension with ease with any garage tyre inflator. You can then arrange repair.
