Titanium leaders are the strongest and most durable leaders you can buy, better than stainless wire and fluorocarbon. We use Knot 2 Kinky wire, which is a single-strand annealed wire that is virtually kink-proof and will not abrade from bite after bite. In heavier sizes this wire is used for shark fishing - the smaller sizes work extremely well for pike and musky. We have personally caught over 30 northerns on a single leader with no kinks or wear!
