You are bidding on a vintage Japan child's hand-painted lusterware complete tea set for 4.
· This beautiful child's tea set is a complete service for 4. Pieces are marked MADE IN JAPAN on the bottoms. The 19 pieces are in very good condition with no chips. The bottom of the sugar has a small crack - it does not go through the porcelain (see photo). Also, the bottom of one saucer has a hairline mark (see last photo). All other pieces are in excellent shape with no chips or cracks.
· The covered teapot meaures about 3 1/2" high, 5 1/8" wide and 3" deep. The covered sugar is about 3" high, 4" wide and 2 1/2" deep. The creamer is about 2 1/2" high, 3 1/4" wide and 2 1/4" deep. Each of the 4 plates is 5 1/8" across. Each of the 4 saucers is 3 3/4" across. Each of the 4 cups are about 2 3/4" across at te top and about 1 1/2" deep.
