Manton Customs Echo MK II Bass Guitar

This is the Echo MK II bass, built by Manton Customs. Clearly inspired by the classic lines of the Telecaster guitar, but refined and "modernized" for the 21st Century. Giving a more dynamic, curvy and ever so slightly more aggressive look. It features a single handwound pickup made by Armstrong Pickups at the Stingray sweet spot, which delivers all the growl you would expect for a Ray but with passive electronics. There is a also a (CTS) push pull pot to split the pickup for more tonal variety.

It features a 32" scale, which in my opinion offers all the benefits of a standard scale (34") with the added benefit of being a little more comfortable (for both reach and stretching). This slightly shorter scale also ensures the bass balances well on the strap.
