UMM = MNH = UnMounted Mint = Mint No Hinge with full original gum.

HMM = Heavy Mounted Mint or less than 50% gum.

UU = UnUsed = no cancellation and no gum.

GU = Good Used = physically sound without tear, thin or other hidden problem.

FILLER = faulty stamp used to fill album space until a better example comes along.

Brackets (c£xx) = catalogue value of an inferior quality stamp; mint catalogue value of an unused (no gum) stamp; 

or postally-used catalogue value of a fiscally-used stamp.
