For Sale is a very nice vintage, mid century Rand McNally Terrestrial World Globe that lights up. The on/off switch is on the 7' 8" cord. Globe has a 12 in. diameter. It measures 18 in. high, and 16 in. wide including the metal holder. It is in very good condition for its age. The globe surface does have slight patina on it. There is only one very small spot that shows some minor damage due to age (please see picture). You can still see everything in that small area. Metal has some patina. Doesn't look bad-just shows age. The globe spins only by hand. Looks very nice when the light inside is on. Nice and sturdy. Solid. Cord is in good shape. Comes from my smoke free, pet free home.
