This ad is for a Very Rare Vintage Pablo Picasso Henri Deschamps Cote D’ Azur Poster. This is Picasso’s well known and popular Cote D’ Azur lithograph made into a poster and printed by Mourlot Paris in 1962. The print measures approximately 39” x 25.5” and is unframed. Printed has along the bottom of the image area signed in plate, Henri Deschamps Lith and at the sheet bottom border is printed MINISTERE DES TRAVAUX PUBLICS ET DES TRANSPORTS COMMISSARIAT GENERAL AU TOURISME  PRINTED IN FRANCE PUBLISHED BY AND FOR THE FRENCH GOVERNMENT : ED 61/23 – IMP. MOURLOT – PARIS. This is a rare original stone lithograph of the period. Printing was by the famous French art lithography printer Fernand Mourlot. It is signed and titled in the plate. The work appears in the Picasso catalogue raisonne of the complete printed works: “Picasso – Posters”, by Christopher Czwiklitzer, New York, NY, Random House, 1971, p. 177. This poster lithograph is in very good condition with the colors being bright. Poster has some perimeter darkening and minor mostly perimeter foxing, otherwise it is in very good shape.
