MEET THE DESIGNER
“Every modern woman today knows how to dress. She has the tools in her
closet to pull together, easy effortless strong looks that suit her body
and personality. She is a very informed woman, who knows what she wants
and who she wants to look. This same woman wants to just dress up and
be chic on her wedding day. She wants ease, comfort, style. She wants to
create a look that is truly her. She will not say yes to any Dress, if
it does not suit her.” Gregory Nato
Forever obsessed with fashion, designer Gregory Nato, started Fancy
Bridal NY in 2008. Having been approached by a dear friend to help her
make a new wedding dress out of many vintage ones. Gregory thought about
creating a collection of New Vintage inspired wedding dresses, that
would not have all the issues associated with the old vintage ones.
Gregory had been moonlighting, creating custom dresses for clients for
many years, and finally brought his ideas to light with the bridal
collection.
“There are so many inspirations for all of the elements that come
together to create an amazing wedding day. The dress is only a small
part of that. We usually hear our brides tell us a story about the day.
How she will look in usually the last thing she discusses. WE have
identified that its more important for the bride to feel beautiful on
her wedding day, not just look beautiful. We give our brides the dress
options that let her bring a specific feeling of image to life. These
dresses giver her the opportunity to let their inner Audrey, Grace, or
Kate shine through.”
