Designed for high altitude mountaineering, these boots are appropriate for expedition climbs at low temperatures and extreme conditions. The Phantom 8000 is Scarpa's warmest boot, and is one of the lightest expedition boots used on Everest. Phantom 8000s have been worn on Manaslu, Cho Oyo, and Denali, and are viable for winter mountaineering in less exotic locales, also.
