Canon 100mm F2.8 FD

A wonderful portrait lens, its focal length is short enough to not require standing too far from the subject but enough to flatten the perspective, that makes it great for head and shoulders shots, also with the F2.8 aperture it is also great for documentary/ street photography.

The lens has an optical construction of 5 elements in 5 groups, producing superbly sharp images plus the lens is coated with canons S.S.C to maintain performance.  

In today's world the lens has become a Canon collectors piece, it can be used directly on Canon film cameras such as the Canon F1, FX, FTB, AE1 ect it it has an FD mount this lens will work.

Alternatively there is popular movement of photographers adapting lenses like this to CSC and DSLR’s, really it’s a great way to be creative.

The lens has caps, original lens hood and case.

The wonderful thing with the older canon lenses is that they produced them in metal barrels, the precision metal engineering is superb a true testament to Canon.
