Description:  Up for auction is this beautiful finely handcarved wood two person figure that is from the beloved Hansel and Gretel fable.  This piece is a great example of the renowned Anri Master Carver Ulrich Bernardi who is best known for his nativity figures.  The fact that this piece is a TWO PERSON carving adds a degree of complexity with is directly proportional to its desireability. 

I was lucky enough to purchase a large lot of these pieces which I will offer for sale individually to allow you to fill holes in your collection.  Please view my other listings and remember that I offer combined shipping.

Condition:   The figure is in EXCELLENT. The colors are vibrant (see photos).  I am including numerous photos to allow you to assess the condition for yourself.  Note on Photos:  I take photos of each side and closeups of the key features.  Any condition issues will be highlighted in the last photos of the series.  If there is an issue . . . it will be in the photos.

Markings : None.  Anri often used paper labels on these vintage pieces which often came off over time.

Shipping and Handling Costs:  We attempt to make a fair guess as to US shipping rates in order to allow for buyer to judge total cost while bidding.   The bidders will be responsible for paying the specified amount.  Thes costs are only applicable to the contiguous 48 states.  If multiple items are purchased, you may inquire about combined shipping rate and if possible we will try to accommodate you.  (Exceptions would be if the items cannot ship safely together due to differences in size, weight, or fragility ).
