Mantova was the town Victor relocated to after Volargne di Dolce' was blown to dust on 21 November 1944 due to a disastrous military accident involving Allies and Nazis.  Later Mantova became my birth town.  You can read more about Victor's war-time experiences in Mantova, and about the PSI Mantova overprints, in our book titled "Arrivederci Leopolis. The six stamps listed herein are fine quality, two of which are
desirable freaks missing their dot between the letters S and I.
