Flora Danica 9" lunch plate, Calluna vulgaris Salisb

Flora Danica was first created in the 1790s as the life's work of artist Johann Christoph Bayer 
to be given by royalty to royalty. 
 It is today still highly prestigious and recognized as one of the world's most luxurious porcelain collections. 
 
This plate is in antique condition with restoration and is marked by Royal Copenhagen 
Mark for the period 1894 -1900
