Battery most likely does not work. I do not have the charger to test.

This is an estate sale item, this item has not been used since 1995. I have tested it and it comes on (with dc in power), screen works, volume, squelch, channel selector and on/off switch works. I cannot test actual transmit and receive, but i have no reason to think it does not work.
