VPI HW-19 MKIII Acrylic Plinth and arm board, 3/16" aluminum sub-plate w/ second 1/8" x 12" sub-plate. DIY multi layer wood motor mount, isolated from base with cork pads. Oak and particle board frame. Frame base has installed toggle power switch. Base has 14 layer composite constrained layer isolation mounts.

This is just not a pretty face but years of trial and error for best sound quality.

Stock VPI Acrylic top cut for stock HW-19 bearing (3 -hole) and will accept newer Scout or Classic platter bearing.
Multi layer aluminum and steel sub-base inspired by Classic Signature model.
Stock VPI Acrylic Arm board cut for 9" arm and Sumiko/Rega type mount (3 Hole).
Motor mount is superior to metal VPI motor mount, and isolated from wood base with three horizontal and two vertical cork pads. Mount could be cut down and used as SAMA mount.
Multi 14 layer, constrained layer isolation mounts w/ EAR IsoDamp, 3M silicone, 3M gum rubber, Balsa wood and felt. I tried the stock springs, Sorbothane, Herbies, etc...these outperform them all.

Top, arm board and metal sub base will fit stock VPI base and would be a instant improvement over the MKI and MKII plinth, just unbolt and drop in your parts.
Or you can source VPI platter and bearing (I had the Classic platter in this set up) a Hurst motor and pulley and you choice of arm for a high end table that will compete with the VPI Scout or original Classic.

This will be heavy to ship...solid Oak, metal and composite wood design. You can't buy the raw materials and pay for the machining for my asking price. It took years of listening and improving to finalize this design. This is a high quality, once in life time assembly and a great deal.

Also will consider sale of just the top, arm board and metal sub-plates.
