vintage circa 1930's Horace silver alto sax- I am not a player but it appears to be intact with no signs of damage.it needs a thorough polishing to bring out the finish.the stencil work on the fron is very nice. these were apparently from Buescher.the SN# is 4777.instead of a sax mouthpiece it has a clarinet mouthpiece adaptor on the neck which comes right off,and an alto mouthpiece can be used, but I'm leaving the adaptor and clarinet mouthpiece inside the compartment.I do not know if that was a common occurence back then to do that. there are no markings on the clarinet mouthpiece and it has standard wear.the case is beat up but still functional, with plenty of wear and tear.the handle is broken off but is still inside the compartment. selling as is, since I do not play. the pads look intact but are old, I'm sure it could use a tuneup along with a polishing.
