This is a nice, vintage, used Ansco 8X10 wooden folding field camera with a brand new high tech bellows. This Three lens kit is great value and an excellent way to get into 8X10 without breaking the bank.

  • Ansco 8X10 camera with brand new bellows
  • Schneider Symmar 300mm F5.6 (convertible to 500mm F12)
  • Ilex Acuton 215mm F4.8 (covers 8X10 with room to spare)
  • Goerz Apo Artar 19" F11 lens in barrel (no shutter)
  • One wooden 8X10 film holder, tested light tight

Camera condition:
  • Camera is well used, and shows its age, please see photos
  • Previous owner began stripping base, but never finished, otherwise original coating and paint is intact
  • Lots of rub marks, chips and scrapes
  • Camera is intact and fully functional, complete and working as it should
  • Bellows is brand new, high tech bellows, custom made of cut/water/dust/tear proof material
  • Holder is used, wooden in good light tight and working condition
  • ***One of the rear standard locking nuts is missing, does not affect use or function in any way
Lenses features and condition:

Schneider Symmar 300mm F5.6: Normal angle of view on 8X10, excellent coverage, sharp and contrasty classic lens.
Mounted in a good working compound shutter, and a linhof technika adapter board.
High density aperture makes for beautiful smooth bokeh (out of focus blur)
Use rear cell only for 500mm F12 soft focus/portrait lens. 
Glass generally clean, with some internal dust/marks which do not affect image quality.

Ilex Acuton 215mm F4.8: Ultra wide angle for 8X10, this is a fairly rare and unknown lens, which offers massive coverage and a classic look, with beautiful out of focus blue, thanks to a high density aperture. Shutter works nicely on all speeds.
Lens glass has some internal artifacts/coating marks which will not affect image quality. 

Goerz Apo Artar 19" F11: a great "portrait" angle of view lens on 8X10, glass is generally clean, with some minor internal dust. Lens is SHARP, and offers excellent coverage for 8X10. 
Lens in barrel - no shutter - use your favorite lens cap as shutter for those long exposures. 
Lens is flesh mounted to the board, but is secure and light tight.
