Fender Squier Pro Tone "fat strat" made in Korea between 1996 and 1998 only. The Pro Tone series were a new line of various guitars introduced by Fender as Fender Squiers in 1996. Made until 1998 whn Fender realised that they were selling so well that Mexican Fenders were dropping their sales so they were cut. This great looking strat has the "fat" body in black with stunning black pearl pickguard and all gold hardware.
It has two sinle coil pickups and an open humbucker at the bridge plus a five-way switch with volume and tone controls. The tremolo bridge/tailpiece has the Floyd Rose licensed locking system and also a locking nut to go with it. The neck is maple as is the fretboard which has 22 frets. The black fronted headstock has the"Squier stratocaster by Fender" plus the "Pro Tone Series" name too.
This is a fabulous guitar in every way and quite rare. This  comes with a Fender gig bag.
