This Breitling Datora 791 boasts time, day/date/month, moonphase and chronograph complications - impressive stuff for a movement measuring only 35mm and dating back to the 1940's. The stainless steel case is 18ct yellow gold capped. The dial, moon phase and hands have all been professionally restored. The manual wind Venus movement appears to be a calibre 195, a rare movement that very little is know about and may not have even been a production model. Note the marking at 3, 6 and 9 minutes on the register at the 3 o'clock position. These were a common feature for Breitling Chronographs during this period. The reason for their presence was due to the fact that long distance phone calls were charged at 3 minute intervals. Excellent condition and available for immediate delivery or collection.
