These gaskets are made from Flexoid gasket material and are 0.75mm thick. Original Triumph and BSA part number (for reference only) is 83-2829

Buy 2 or more and save on postage - only 10p extra p&p (UK) for each additional pair!

Used on the later Oil In Frame models built by BSA and Triumph from 1971 at Small Heath (Birmingham) and Meriden and used up until the end of the T140 Bonneville manufacturing run in 1988 (‘Harris’ Bonneville, Devon).  This includes the TR6, TR7, TSS & TSX models.  I use these gaskets on my own machines.

Flexoid is a plasticised gelatin impregnated material which is cellulose based.  Because of its ability to seal against petrol, oil and water at low cost, Flexoid is used extensively by leading British, European and US automotive manufacturers.  Maximum recommended service temperature is 120°C  and the material is often used for applications including; Carburettor; Fuel Pump; Oil Pump; Oil Filter; Side Cover; Timing Cover; Thermostat; Water Pump etc.  See spec. sheet

These gaskets have been specially made for me in the UK.
