This LibbyLuLa Looms Twining Loom was made to specifications of a long time Twiner to use for twining different size items with one loom that can be assembled or disassembled without tools and easily stored!
Our looms are made with a love and respect for wood by a seasoned craftsman and fine furniture maker.
The maple is carefully sanded to a soft, butter-like feel. Many have called this loom the 'Cadillac' of looms.
The benefits of pegs over nails:
Pegs are easier on the fingers and toes when twining.
Pegs hold the warp at the right spacing for ease of twining.
Easily assembled by hand, without tools.
Written and Hand Drawn Instructions Included.
It is adjustable to multiple sizes. Picture #1 shows a 20" X 32" rug on the loom.
The third crossbar can be used to adjust to multiple lengths. Top and Bottom Crossbars have multiple holes for adjusting width.
The eye bolts allow multiple adjustments for different widths.
The steel rods are heated, bent, sanded and waxed to a allow easy removal of the finished rug, mat, material sculpture or what ever your project may be.
Overall size when assembled is 47"H X 28"W Depth is 3 1/2"
The large rug size: 25" X 41 1/2"
Other preset adjustments allow you to make at least 20 different sizes.
From pot holders to regular sized rugs.
It is pre-drilled for several sizes.
>There may be variation in color in the maple of each individual loom. They are all made of top grade, FAS, maple. Some of the grain on the looms is close to being the grain used for fiddle backs and occasionally Birdseye Maple. It's truly a beautiful wood.<
