Here it is Ibanez fans! This has to be one of the most sought after guitars in the Ibanez line up. This is a 97 Ibanez RG 550 BK, These are amazing guitars and this one won't dissappoint. Most who are looking at this will know what it is and know exactly what they are looking for.
This one is in great shape. There are typical areas of pick and polishing swirl marks and a few tiny dings and thats it. I tried to picture the small blemishes the best I could.
The neck is nice and straight, with a little relief. As most know the Super Wizard neck profile is wicked fast and the Maple board has an amazing feel and tone. The frets are in great shape with no fret divots yet or anything. There are NO CRACKS in the neck near the locking nut bolts. There are NO typical cracks in the neck pocket.
The Orginal edge trem is in good shape with a little finish wear to be seen. The electronics sound good with no scratchiness in the pots or switch. The original pickups are obviously gone and replaced with some hot looking and sounding Red/Black reverse zebras. I don't know what the are but they do a better job than the V7/V8 set.
All in all this is a very fine example of an Ibanez.
It comes with the trem bar, but no case. I can add in a gigbag or generic hardcase for some extra cash but no case is included.
