Note:
Do Not Use Other Plugs, It Can Only Use 5V 1A Plug.
The adapter is incompatible with 5.1 Channel Signal such as Dolby AC3, please set the audio output to PCM or LPCM.
This Converter can't adjust volume, please adjust the volume by your input device or output device.

TV's as Apple TV's will also work if you plug in a Toslink Cable on the input.
For TV's all you need to make sure is that your Bose system receives analogue input at the Aux port.

*TIP / If you have no Toslink optical wire entry
If your TV comes with a Digital Audio Coax Wire instead of a Toslink optical wire entry, you will also need to buy a Digital coaxial to Toslink optical convertor.

Al long as your chosen audio output comes with the standard red/white analogue input, RCA cable, you can plug it into this converter.

Or you can plug in your headphones via jack audio entry.

*TIP / If your chosen OUTPUT has no RCA cables
If instead of RCA cable you have an 3.5mm audio

You can use the 3.5mm audio jack entry - with less quality of sound.
or
You'll need an RCA to mini jack converter cable too as it’s a RCA stereo out.

-How do I plug it in?

-INPUT
An optical Toslink - For TV's

-OUTPUT
Colour coded red and white output.
Here is where you connect your digital stereo speakers / amplifiers… RCA cables.

-POWER
The converter needs to be plugged in, to its source of power, at all times.
USB charging cable of 80cm / 31.5" length included/
You can plug it in via the USB cable, to your TV.
Or you can get an 5v 1A adapter and plug it directly to the mains.

*Set up Tip;
Plug al cables in the right outputs / inputs.
Turn your audio converter on.
Then turn on all your devices (input and output)
Do not turn on the devices first as it won’t work.
The converter simply needs all the connections in first to recognise them all.

Once all steps above are done, the sound will come loud and clear from your digital stereo speakers or your amplifier, whichever output you have chosen.

*TIP for Xbox;
If you're connecting an Xbox, make sure you change the channel from the default 5.1 channel to Digital Stereo or be prepared to go crazy with a horrible high-pitched squealing noise.

This converted will save you ££££ compared to other branded converters in the market and it actually works just as well.

-What you must also know;
If you play DVD's through the Xbox 360 with 5.1 soundtrack, it will not work.
The terrible squealing noise will be back if you do!
