Seiko "SQ" Quartz 7N42-8070
This is an unusual Seiko quartz watch, a 1990's SQ model with full lume dial.
Nice dressy bi-metal watch, looks like a classy cream dial in the daylight, but glows at night.
Serial number dates this to August 1995.
** Case **
Stainless steel case, steel back.
Gold plated crown and bezel.
37mm diameter (39mm with crown).
Flat mineral glass.
** Strap **
Original Seiko bracelet, model 43G7-G-E.
Stainless steel with two gold plated tracks.
20mm lug width, standard spring-bar fitting.
Correct 6 hole fold-over clasp.
Length approx 7.5" total, (6 removable links fitted)
I will also included a brown/tan leather strap.
Brand new, looks good against the gold.
** Dial **
Luminova dial, glows in the dark.
Black steel & luminous hands.
Gold hour batons with black strips.
Date at 3 position.
** Movement **
Quartz 7N42 calibre 3 hand analogue.
Perfect working order.
** Condition **
Working order, runs as it should and keeps perfect time.
Overall condition of the case is very good with just light signs of wear.
The bracelet is in good condition with only light surface scratches.
The glass has a couple of very slight marks.
Gold plating is good - no wear on the bezel or crown but slight fading on the bracelet.
No serious issues, great working watch.
Serial number dates it to 1995.
No box.
No paperwork.
