Beautiful Reupholstered Kroehler Gondola Sofa. Many times this sofa is mis-attributed to Adrian Pearsall but this kroehler is in many ways built better and more iconic than most adrian pearsall sofas. The frame of this sofa is built with solid walnut trim to the front and arms and comes with matching boomerang style legs. The upholstery was restored recently in a high quality aqua blue knobby tweed. shades of lighter and darker blue come together within the fabric to create the vibrant strong color. Sofa is comfortable and firm. The firm fabric straps below the cushion was put in primitively, screwing extra screws into the frame. This does not take away from the usability or style of the sofa. This sofa measures over 100"(or a little over 8 ft.) and offers plenty of room for guests if you are entertaining. Condition report: Wood and frame in outstanding condition. The upholstery was restored completely and in the process the straps below the cushion were drilled into the frame in an unprofessional way. Overall in great condition otherwise. Still comfortable and usable but could always be improved later. 8.5/10 Condition report.
