Please note! If this is used on a DSLR or Mirrorless camera it WILL require an adapter and be a manual focus lens. A signature is required for USPS Delivery. If you are not at home when your postal carrier attempts delivery they will leave a small notice for you to pick up at your local post office. Sold ONLY to a Pay Pal confirmed address. The focus is tight or heavy, hard to turn, but smooth. I did not try to lubricate or do anything to correct the problem. It's not super hard to turn, but it is tight and a quick focus would be a bit of a pain. It is not a perfect lens. I assume from sitting for quite awhile. Lens was properly stored so there is no fungus haze etc. The glass is close to Mint with minimal dust and no scratches etc, even the SSC coatings have no noticeable cleaning marks, really nice. The aperture ring works properly and also locks into Auto mode when used on a camera with AE such as the AE-1. If not using on one of these cameras the A is not used. The aperture blades are snappy and are oil free. There are a couple marks on the barrel and some tiny marks on the edges. A 58mm filter mounts fine. There is NO lens cap. Serial number is 76899.lease ask any questions and please be sure an FD Breechlock silver ring mount will fit your needs. It's not for the average photographer and is a collector favorite and a very cool piece of Canon's history. Thank You!
